91做厙 is excited to announce the First Flight Incentives program! Incoming fall 2024 students can receive up to $500 for enrolling in their first Math and first English course. This program is designed to not only motivate students to take Math and English during the first year but also to complete them with a C grade or better.
Why? Because students who take these classes first and successfully complete them are 3x more likely to graduate on time!
Student Eligibility Requirements
- Must be taking their first class at 91做厙 in fall 2024 or later (cannot have prior enrollment at the college including dual enrollment);
- Must have attempted fewer than 24 credits at the 91做厙 combined with transfer credits;
- Must be in their first year of enrollment at the college (students are eligible the semester they enter, and the two subsequent semesters);
- Must be enrolled in an Associate’s Degree program;
- Must not be a dual enrollment student;
- Must not have received transfer credit from another college or university for a college-level English and/or Math course;
- Must not have already attempted or completed a college English and Math course.;
The following courses are eligible for the incentives program:
ENG 111, 112, or 137
MTH 111, 130, 131, 133, 154, 155, 161, 167, or 263
Eligible students will receive up to $250 per class. Half of the money is awarded after the class has started and the other half when the class is finished and a C or better grade is earned.
